Here's what can happen if you work out like a maniac for a year straight: Some guy with an average body started lifting weights and took a picture of himself in boxer shorts every day for 365 days in a row.--Then he strung all the pictures together to make a 37-second video of his progress. You can check it out at TodaysBigThing.com.--He's basically ripped by the 13-second mark. And over the course of the year, it looks like he also discovered tanning beds and hair dye.

Dogs with Fake IDs
![]() |
| First class for me thanks |
Owners and trainers of service dogs are increasingly angry at pet owners who pass their animals off as service dogs by using phony credentials. The imposters go to the Internet to buy vests, ID cards, and certificates for their pooches. The deception allows their pets to live in restricted housing, accompany them inside restaurants and hotels, or fly for free in airplane cabins rather than in cargo holds. Authorities warn that people who fake a disability and/or pretend their pet is a service animal risk at least a fine, and in extreme cases, fraud charges. (This is even sleazier than faked disabled parking stickers.)
Coffee in your DNA?
COFFEE IN YOUR DNA: If you’re a coffee addict, then take heart ... it’s not your fault. New research at the National Cancer Institute shows that how much you crave caffeine largely depends on your genes. People with a so-called ‘high-consumption’ variation in either of 2 genes appear to drink more coffee, compared to those who carry a ‘low-consumption’ variant. Study co-author Dr Neil Caporaso says it may seem surprising but the truth is genetics plays a big role in a lot of behaviors, such as smoking and alcohol consumption. (Soon we’ll be able to shirk responsibility for all our bad habits: “Yeah, nose-picking runs in my family ...”)
